Preserving-Your-Best-Dehydrate-Meats-&-Main-Dish

10/25/2018
What:
Dehydrating Meats & Main Dishes*

Ever thought of dehydrating your cooked meat and beans and then using them to make quick meals.  If not, come see how many types of beans and meat you can dehydrate.

I especially like dehydrating cooked beans.  They reconstitute to their original texture and size almost instantly and can be used for every recipe you have calling for beans.  They also store well without refrigeration or freezing and are great for at home or on the road meals.

Meat does not have as long a shelf-life as beans, but also re-hydrates quickly and can be used in a variety of recipes.  Chili, refried beans, sloppy joes, bean and bacon soup are only a few of the foods that will be demonstrated.  How to dehydrate and re-hydrate these products will be demonstrated.

*Survey: Lecture-demonstration classes that give you a board overview of the topic.  Samples or tasting table provided.
