Wheat Chili
2 cups wheat 1/8 tsp black pepper
1 lb hamburger 1 pkg chili seasoning
1 can V Eight juice 1 Tbls cumin
1/2 tsp oregano 1/8 tsp red pepper
Soak 2 cups wheat overnight. Put in crock pot and cook slow. Add hamburger, juice and seasoning to taste when wheat is tender.
Pinto Bean Fudge
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate 2 1/2 lbs powdered sugar
1 1/4 cubes margarine 1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups cooked and mashed pinto beans
Melt margarine and chocolate. Add Beans and mix well. Add vanilla, Gradually add powdered sugar and mix well. Pour into buttered pan and chill.
