Now for my fourth lesson on…
How to lose 10 pounds in a minute!

Answer: Color Blocking. Define desired areas of your body with a sizable block of one color or mix of colors.  This trick forces the viewer’s eye to focus there. Angling the design or border of color can often help.  Note in the side photo of me how using a block of plain color near my face focuses your eyes there.  In the photos below, note how designers use color blocking to broaden, lengthen or accentuate a particular body area. The real trick to losing 10 pounds in a minute, is choosing designs with blocks of color placed correctly to play up your best body assets. These photos demonstrate how to do just that!


Broaden shoulder and create larger bust with colored yokes.




Boleros and colored designs on bust create the same effect.




Create smaller waist with side panels or angled blocks of color.




Only small hips can afford to wear these styles.




Only good knees can afford to be shown off, 
otherwise cover them or wear dark opaque tights. 




To hide full legs or ankles wear Gaucho or cool harem pants.
